How we Develop Athletes at ADC
Sports Performance Training incorporates speed, agility, vertical jump, and strength training. It takes a wholistic approach to improving athleticism as it relates to sport. Ultimately, athletes should be preparing their body for sports through specific isolated movements that translate to the demands of sport. General strength and conditioning, or speed and agility training alone are good, but there is a better way.
Coupling speed, agility, and vertical jump training with strength and conditioning, provides the best mechanism to create athleticism. At Athlete Development Center, what we do is in our name, develop athletes. Sports are important to us no matter the level. We love seeing young athletes get into their first ever soccer game just as much as seeing an elite athlete sign their first pro contract. Learn more about EXOS

Our Sport Performance Director
Benjamin Sinegar (Coach Ben) comes to Athlete Development Center as a full-time Performance Coach, having recently completed a 14-week internship with EXOS in San Diego California. While at EXOS, Coach Ben had the opportunity to work with a wide range of athletes, from youth to elite. As well as a group of tactical athletes, such as military members who were looking to return to active duty. All of these athletes gave Coach Ben the necessary experience and know-how that is required of a performance coach.
Before heading to San Diego for the internship, Ben completed his undergrad at Bowling Green State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. While at Bowing Green State University, Ben obtained experience working with D1 athletes at the University’s Strength and Conditioning Facility. Here, Coach Ben worked with team sports such as Football, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Gymnastics, Track, and Hockey. Along with his experience as a Performance Coach Intern and a Strength and Conditioning Intern, Ben also held the position of a Certified Personal Trainer and Group X instructor, in which he was certified by ACE.
Ben currently holds an EXOS Performance Specialist Certification (XPS), and is pursuing his Certification for Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Coach Ben also plans to return to school in the near future to finish his education by receiving his Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, with a specialization in Sport Performance. In his free time, Ben enjoys training, hiking, playing sand volleyball, and watching his hometown sports teams (Cleveland, OH)
